In order to have more real estate sales and grow your business you have to talk to more people. I know this from taking countless classes but also I see it every year. There are seasons in life where you just have to slow down and maybe 10-20 contacts just doesn't get done every day. When this happens you can literally see the corresponding effect on the business units sold.
It is really that simple. Talk to more people close more deals.
One thing I have done over the years that helps me talk to more people are events. In this week's episode we break down types of events and the groups you are targeting with those events. And most importantly what is the purpose of each type of event. Not all are created equal.
A sphere or past client event is to engage with your met database and you may be looking for referrals and to grow a stronger relationship with those people.
At a community farm event you are looking to get contact info of new people so you can follow up and find future business.
But at the core of every event is to have MORE conversations. Getting people in one place allows you to use your time wisely and spend less time making more contacts.
Once I figured this out I started looking for more ways to have events. It makes life and business easier and more fun.
The key at events though is to get contact info and see what their needs are. Without the contact info for follow up you just had a bunch of conversations for no reason. You literally talked to people for no reason!
Here are the questions I have on every form event registrations:

It doesn't matter if they fill out every box, the goal is just to have a way to keep in touch so I want to get at least a name, phone, email every time I meet someone. What questions do you ask when hosting an event?
